Q: Summer Reading - What was your favorite book that you were REQUIRED to read when you were in school?
A: I think The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald was my favorite required reading and I have read it again since. I remember enjoying To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee but I really need to re-read it for the details. I will be adding this to my list. Oh and Life of Pi by Yann Martel was good too. I have that on my nook to re-read also.
What was your favorite required reading? Leave me a comment and let me know!
I've been seeing The Great Gatsby and To Kill a Mockingbird a lot - I really need to read those ASAP!

I know it's crazy, but I haven't read any of those. Huge classics, but they weren't required and I just passed them over. I would like to read them one day though...

It's nice to see all these books that people did enjoy for class. I got dumped with books I ended up not enjoying. Oh well.
ReplyDeleteFollowing you back.

I didn't read The Great Gatsby or To Kill a Mockingbird until last year. I'm not sure how I missed reading them in school! And I really want to read Life of Pi, especially since the movie is coming out soon and it looks really good! Great picks!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for stopping by my FF and for following! I'm now following you back, although for some reason, GFC has been really weird for me for the past couple of days and my picture isn't showing up on the widget when I follow people. But your blog is in my Google reading list! Anyway, have a great weekend! :D
